OK maybe that was a bit dramatic! But I do talk to agents every day who, for one reason or another, don’t feel CONNECTED to their brokers or other agents in their office. I’m not talking about lots of cheerleading meetings or classes, but about knowing that you work in a friendly, collaborative environment where advice can be found, and experienced help available when you need it most. It’s hard to measure but easy to feel, right?
At RE/MAX Innovative Properties, that camaraderie is felt within each of our offices, as well as across the company. I see it when we gather for fun company social events like “Nashuaville” – our summer picnic with beer and BBQ trucks, country music and yes, balloon animals! Or when we pile into a party bus to take us to a high energy RE/MAX event nearby. Every office is staffed, and the Management Team rotates through them all hosting personal agent coaching sessions, meetings to salvage deals, or a small discussion group talking about the next social media post they want to make. How often do you see or interact with your broker and fellow agents? That’s what Susan Ochoa is talking about in the video below!
We define feeling CONNECTED as more about emotions than electronics. There can be all the online training you want, zoom coaching groups from all over, or even weekly emails from your broker. But the consistency of a Management Team and office staff members who don’t wait for you to call them before personally checking in and helping you out is how we define it. If you want more of an emotional connection to a brokerage with the “Most Trusted Agents in the Industry” (according to Newsweek) then let’s talk!
